Rates and Method

I use the track changes function in MS Word to make my changes clear for you. What this means is that the changes I make to the document will be in red. Deleted words will have strike-through markings. You can accept the changes I make by entering the "Tools" tab and selecting "accept changes" under "Track Changes." The image below is an example of editing in Track Changes.

Any suggestions that I have about content will be denoted in the text of the document with yellow highlighting. Click on my intials in the highlighted area and the comments will be displayed at the bottom.

If you ever have any questions about changes that I have made or suggested, you should contact me through one of the methods listed on the left.

Please send writing in Rich Text Format(RTF). You can save your documents in RTF by selecting RTF from the drop down menu that appears while you are saving.

While I am able to complete projects very quickly, do not send something to me and expect to have it returned the next day unless we already have an agreement. If you have something that needs to be completed soon, please call me so that we might arrange a deadline. If you contact me by email, please remain patient while waiting for a response. It will rarely be more than a few hours before I respond, but occasionally it may take be up to 24 hours (never more than 24 hours) for me to respond.

Large projects, such as writing a doctoral thesis or book, will often require a contract that we will negotiate.

The first project that I complete for a client must be paid in advance. After that, you are free to make the payment when the project is returned to you. Before making the advance payment, I can send you a sample of the work that I am doing for you. The sample is usually the first two or three pages of the document (This means that I am unable to provide a sample for very short projects). Large projects that require more than two weeks to complete may be paid in installments as the work is completed, with only the first installment being payed in advance.

Payments can be made through Paypal or with a credit/debit card on a secure webpage. Payments through Paypal would be made to the email address at the left. The address of the secure webpage will be mailed to you at your request. Please do not make a payment unless I have agreed to complete the project.
