Critical Mass is a movement to encourage the use of bicycles rather
than cars. It started in San Francisco in September 1992 and quickly
spread to cities all over the world. This site attempts to be the

MADRE
An international women’s human rights organization that works
in partnership with women’s community-based groups in conflict
areas worldwide. Our programs address issues of sustainable development,
community improvement and women’s health; violence and war;
discrimination and racism; self-determination and collective rights;
women’s leadership development; and human rights education.
MADRE provides resources and training to enable our sister organizations
to meet immediate needs in their communities and develop long-term
solutions to the crises they face.
Northeastern
Federation of Anarchist Communists (NEFAC)
A bilingual (French and English) organization of revolutionaries
from the northeastern region of North America who identify with
the communist tradition within anarchism. We oppose all forms of
oppression and exploitation, and struggle for a classless, stateless,
non-hierarchical society.
Peoples´
Global Action
From the 23rd to the 26th of February of 1998, grassroots movements
of all continents met in Geneva to launch a worldwide coordination
network of resistance to the global market, a new alliance of struggle
and solidarity called Peoples' Global Action against 'free' trade
and the WTO (PGA). That was the birth of this global tool for communication
and coordination for all those who fight the destruction of humanity
and the planet by capitalism and build local alternatives to globalisation.

Social Forum
An open meeting place where groups and movements of civil society
opposed to neo-liberalism and a world dominated by capital or by
any form of imperialism, but engaged in building a planetary society
centred on the human person, come together to pursue their thinking,
to debate ideas democratically, for formulate proposals, share their
experiences freely and network for effective action.
