Bet Mishpachah
A congregation for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Jews and all who wish to participate in an inclusive, egalitarian, and mutually supportive community. We join together to affirm our religious and cultural heritage, integrating Gay and Lesbian and Jewish identities.

Black Lesbian Support Group (BLSG)
Our primary mission is to provide peer support through positive and stimulating tri-monthly group discussions geared toward addressing the needs of the Black Lesbian community. We strive to increase visibility of black lesbians in the lesbian and gay community.

Burgundy Crescent Volunteers (BCV)
We are a source of volunteers for local and national gay and gay-friendly community organizations in the Washington, DC area. We also bring gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender singles and couples together for volunteer activities that are social in nature.

DC Action Medical Network (DAMN)
is a collective of street medics located within a few hours of Washington, DC. DAMN (1) provides medical assistance and first aid to activists at rallies, demonstrations, and other local and national actions in the DC area; (2) helps coordinate out-of-town medics when they come to DC; (3) travels to support medics at actions in other areas; and (4) is working to create a regional network of radical healthcare.

DC Area Transmen Society (DCATS)

DC Arts Center (DCAC)
Located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, we support emerging artists who are trying to get a foothold in the public arena.

DC Avengers
A queer, direct action, activist group.

DC Bi Women
Is a social and support group for bisexual and bi-curious women in the DC metro area including northern VA and MD. Our goal is to create an accepting, encouraging environment for bisexual women regardless of the gender of their partner or what they are looking for, meet other cool bi women, and affirm the existence of the bi-identity.

Dignity Washington
A community of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Catholics and other Christians, our families and friends.

Emergence Community Arts Collective (ECAC)
Our mission is to foster a spirit of community in the Pleasant Plains neighborhood of Washington, DC, through social activities, traditional arts classes, support groups and educational seminars.

Gay and Lesbian Activiists Alliance (GLAA)
We work to advance the equal rights of gay men and lesbians in the locality of Washington, DC.

Latin American Youth Center (LAYC)
A multicultural community based organization that supports youth and families in their determination to live, work and study with dignity, hope and joy. We achieve our mission by providing comprehensive and culturally sensitive social supports, opportunities in education and employment and through advocacy and social enterprise.

Metro Area Gender Identity Connection (MAGIC)
Social/support group for all transsexual persons, their families and friends. MAGIC has an occasional newsletter distributed only at its meetings with referral information. Support is informal, peer-based.

MotherTongue
A community-based organization that works to create a safe space where all women may speak freely and powerfully and have their creative and artistic voices heard. Through monthly women's spoken word events and writing/performance workshops, mothertongue encourages women to use their voices, art, talents, and skills to build just and inclusive communities.

Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays of the Metroplitan DC Area (Metro DC PFLAG)
We provide opportunities for dialogue about sexual orientation, and act to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity. Keeping families together is our mission. Our family values stress education, understanding, acceptance, and support, but most of all love, thereby empowering our children — straight and gay — to lead happy and productive lives.

Prevention Works!
A harm reduction program that operates primarily via a mobile service vehicle. Our clients are served weekly at 11 needle exchange sites located near active drug strips. We also accept and service walk-in clients at our main office. Our mission is to prevent the spread of HIV and other blood-borne diseases among injection and other drug users, their partners, and their newborn children.

The Rainbow History Project
Our mission is to collect, preserve, and promote an active knowledge of the history, arts, and culture relevant to sexually diverse communities in metropolitan Washington DC.

Rhythm Workers Union
We use music, rhythm and song to promote peace, justice, and unity, and to aid in the creation of a culture that respects and celebrates life.

Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League (SMYAL)
Is the only youth service agency solely dedicated to meeting the needs of youth ages 13-21 in the metropolitan Washington, DC area who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex, as well as those questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity. Our mission is to support and enhance the self-esteem of sexual minority youth and increase public awareness and understanding of their issues.

The Vegetarian Society of DC (VSDC)
We promote the benefits of vegetarianism through educational and social activities throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area, including Maryland and northern Virginia. VSDC welcomes people wherever they are on the path toward an all plant-based diet.

Wanton Wombyn
A Wombynz Spirituality Group founded on Earth Based Philosopy/Theology/Thealogy; open to wombyn in the MD, DC, Fredericksburg, No. VA, W.VA, and Central VA Areas.

The Women's Center
We are a counseling, education, and information resource that provides psychological, career, financial, and legal services to women and families regardless of ability to pay
